Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Flint. These terms govern your use of the Flint mobile application and related services operated by flintvoice.app.
By downloading, installing, or using Flint, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of Flint, including free and paid tiers.
Flint is a voice-to-note mobile application that transcribes and summarizes audio recordings. Features include cloud transcription, AI summarization, AI chat over notes, real-time collaboration, and YouTube URL summaries. Some features require credits or a Pro purchase.
All new accounts receive 30 minutes of complimentary cloud transcription credits. Credits are consumed per transcription minute and do not expire. Credits Packs are purchased as one-time in-app purchases. Credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or app store policies.
The Pro upgrade is a one-time, non-subscription purchase that grants lifetime access to Pro features for the purchasing account. The Pro license is personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to modify Pro features over time; however, we will not remove core functionality without reasonable notice.
Pro users may connect third-party API keys (Deepgram, OpenAI, Anthropic). You are solely responsible for managing, securing, and paying for your own API keys. Flint is not liable for charges incurred on third-party platforms through BYOK usage.
You agree not to use Flint to record conversations without consent where required by law, to generate or distribute harmful, illegal, or harassing content, to attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the service, or to resell or sublicense access to the service.
You retain full ownership of your recordings, transcriptions, and notes. By using Flint, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service. We claim no rights over your data beyond what is necessary to operate Flint.
Flint is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Transcription and AI-generated summaries may contain errors. We do not guarantee accuracy, and you should not rely on Flint output for legal, medical, or financial decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flint and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Flint after changes constitutes acceptance. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via the app or email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
