Sharing and exporting
Publish a protected link, or export as PDF, Markdown, or Zip.
Notes live on your phone by default. When you want one somewhere else, there are three routes out.
Publish a link
Publish in the note menu creates a web link to the note.
- The content is encrypted, and opening it needs a short code.
- You can copy the code and the link separately, or copy a link with the code already inside it. The second is easier, but anyone holding that link gets in without typing anything.
- Links expire after 14 days.
- Generate a fresh code at any time to cut off the old link.
Good for handing a recipe, a quote, or a meeting summary to someone who does not use Flint.
Export a file
Export offers three formats:

For each one you can preview it first, download it, or send it straight to another app.
Markdown is the one to use if you are moving notes into another tool. Zip is the one to use if you are archiving something you care about, since it is the only option that includes the audio.
Send to app
Send to app opens your phone's share sheet with the note's text, so it can go into a notes app, an email, a message, or anything else you have installed.
Just the audio
Download Audio saves the original recording on its own, without the note or transcript.
